Workers Activism is an independent labour platform based in Pakistan that focuses on workers’ struggles, trade union rights, and labour justice. The platform highlights issues affecting working people, including workplace safety, privatisation, public services, labour laws, and the rights of organised and unorganised workers.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Workers Activism is to document workers’ struggles, support trade union movements, and raise awareness about labour rights in Pakistan and globally. Many workers’ voices remain unheard. This platform exists to bring those voices forward and strengthen solidarity among workers and activists.

About the Founder
Asad Ur Rehman Aasi is a trade unionist from Pakistan who has been actively working for workers’ rights and trade union movements for many years. He has been involved in organizing workers, supporting labour campaigns, and raising awareness about issues affecting working people, especially in the public sector.
Through WorkersActivism.com, he aims to document workers’ struggles, highlight labour rights issues, and create a platform where workers, union leaders, and activists can share their voices and experiences.
His work focuses on labour rights, trade union development, public services, and the dignity of workers. He also engages with national and international labour organizations to strengthen solidarity and promote justice for workers.
